Bauer Audio Service Plan Options

It is important when investing in Technology that it remains dependable. For many reasons, any system whether for a home or a business can have unexpected interruptions or failures. In those critical moments having the correct support platform eliminates hassles.

Systems that go without service for too long may even require total replacement. A service plan ensures that any potential problem is resolved quickly, so that your technology is in peak performance when you need it most. 

We offer three different plans which are detailed below. Please review all three and select the plan that suits you best. Call (212) 665-3974 for any questions you need answered to make your decision.

Essential Plan 

                   The most basic of our service plans. Once enrolled, you are assured to receive support, although limited. 

Response time via Phone and Email Support - Support is provided during regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding all holidays). Response time may vary, depending upon the availability of our technicians.  

Product Warranty - covers select products from the following manufacturers: Access Networks, Amina, Audio Control, AudioQuest, Autonomic Controls, Colorbeam, Crestron, Denon, Digital Projection, Future Automation, Kaleidescape, Leon Speakers, Middle Atlantic, OVRC, Pakedge, Panamax, Sonos, Stealth Acoustics, Stewart Filmscreen, Surgex, Triad, Wattbox, and Xantech. (while still under original warranty). If your system includes products under warranty from any of these brands, Bauer Audio will take the necessary steps to work with the manufacturer to either replace or repair the equipment. Administration & handling fees apply.

This warranty does not cover costs of removal, re-installation, loaner items, shipping and handling for any defective components covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Firmware updates are not covered under this warranty.

Remote Equipment Power Reboot - The majority of problems with your system can be resolved by our technicians rebooting your equipment remotely, or by creating custom auto-reboot schedules when you are not using it, thus minimizing the need for a service call. Installation of specialized equipment is required.

Priority Plan 

This plan is designed to provide a more rapid solution for a majority of problems. Starting at this level, additional support features such as remote system monitoring become available. 

This includes all of the essential plan with a 4 hour response time and extended hours to 8:00 PM, plus the following:

Product Warranty - Same as the Essential plan, but all handling fees are included.

Remote System Monitoring and Maintenance - We will respond to alerts from specialized equipment installed in your system and correct all situations where possible, or proactively notify you. Maintenance of your system may require software updates or programming changes. This may need to be scheduled and could require you or your representative to be on-site. Installation of specialized equipment is required.

Client Remote Access provides access to your system via your mobile device. Depending on your system configuration, you can control your audio, video, lighting, shades, climate and other devices. Installation of specialized equipment and custom programming is required.

No Cost In-Home Service - If a problem escalates beyond what we can correct remotely, we will schedule a site visit. This plan includes up to 4 hours per year (including travel time). Additional hours will be billed at current rates.

Discounted Upgrades - We offer a discount of up to 3% on select items.

Client Access for On-site Equipment Reboot  - Starting at this level, help is at your fingertips. We will provide you with the ability to reboot certain equipment, without needing to reach behind an equipment rack, or cabinet for an immediate solution. Installation of specialized equipment is required.

Personal Computer, Mobile Device, & IoT* Support - As a technology adviser, we can be a resource to help you troubleshoot problems, or make the most of your equipment. Up to 1 hour per year is included. (*Internet of Things)

Proactive Plan

This is a comprehensive plan that includes all the features from the priority plan and more, providing our clients with an exceptional service experience, which allows us to identify and act upon problems. 

This includes everything from the priority plan with a 1 hour response time, plus the following:

Product Warranty - Same as the Priority plan, but all administration fees are included

 In-Home Service - Same as priority plan, but this plan extends to 8 hours per year (including travel time). Additional hours will be billed at current rates.

Discounted Upgrades - We offer a discount of up to 10% on select items.

Personal Computer, Mobile Device, & IoT* Support - Same as priority plan, but this plan extends to 4 hours per year. (*Internet of Things)

Cable, Telephone & Internet Service Provider Support - Upon your authorization, we will handle all aspects of coordination, equipment replacement, upgrading or downgrading services and support with your service provider.                                        Includes up to 4 hours per year.

Annual Calibration for Audio Video Systems - A yearly calibration will be performed for two channel audio, multi-zone audio, video projection and audio surround systems. 

Power Protection and UPS Power Surge Replacement - UPS batteries will be replaced as needed to maintain functionality. Upon a power surge, we will work with the manufacturer to replace the affected unit. 

Loaner Product - Select equipment may be loaned when repair of an existing device is required, labor not included.

Next Business Day Guarantee - If a site visit is needed, we will be there the next business day.

On-site Preventive Maintenance - Two (4) hour visits per year will include the maintenance of your Bauer Audio installed system(s), (includes travel time), additional time billed at current rates.
